Every single match is just my opponent walking back and then doing jumpscare drive rushes into some other random bullshit, when I start checking drive rushes well now it’s time to throw fireballs and then drive rush, I’m so exhausted of just chasing people around. This game really punishes you for not having a reversal, fuck...

I’ve been using a really old Dualshock 4. It was fine for modern, but I have switched to classic recently, and getting some inputs has been really difficult. The dpad is really mushy. Many times, I’m positive I’m holding down back but still end up getting hit because the controller doesn’t register the input as down...

I got this from Eventhubs, which in turn got it from Cat Cammy on Twitter/X....

Ask me stuff. I’m 1400MR and there’s a ton of other stuff I intentionally left out because I wanted to put in the absolute minimum to keep any part of this from being overwhelming/bloated.

A lot of reviews of this controller were from YouTubers that did not look like they played fighting games seriously. NihongoGamer was the one YouTuber that actually tested it in multiple fighting games. So I figured I could provide a review for future users looking to upgrade....

Is this thing just broken, or what? They locked 3 achievements behind the mode, but I almost never see any tournaments being held. I saw one a while back but it was at some ungodly hour in my timezone, so I couldn’t participate. Then they held another one today which I thought I would be able to play. Absolutely incredible match between Snake Eyez (Zangief) and Reynald (JP). If you enjoy competitive SF at all, you’ve got to watch this match.

How it all started....

Watching the moves play out was fun for the first month but it starts to get old after a while. There needs to be an option to skip part of the animation or play it at 2x speed in matches.

This was way harder than getting to Celestial with Potemkin the first time.

So, the TMNT content came out of nowhere and was a nice surprise. But along with the Onitsuka Tiger thing, it’s clear that Capcom is going to do a lot of sponsorships and product placement along these lines going forward....

The GF sets were incredible

Closing out the #Evo2023 show tomorrow is Top 6 of Street Fighter 6 at 7 PM PT....

I was not aware of this player before now, but I think it’s really awesome that Street Fighter has such good audio and accessibility features to allow all types of people to enjoy the game.
