I, personally, don't see merit in Blanchard's typology. AGP and trans fetishism is without a doubt real and evident in things like "sissy" kink, but I don't see that as correlating neatly with sexual orientation. Simply being a trans woman attracted to women should not equate to AGP. And as for other markers like early childhood cross-gender behavior, age of seeking SRS, prior marriage, etc. I just think there are many environmental factors that affect all of that and make it more complicated. More + better research can be done to challenge Blanchard's conclusions and come closer to developing a more accurate typology but I def don't see that happening since the subject is now so taboo. Studies which focus on identifying biological markers I think also are a better route for this rather than using psychological data.

"TruTrans" is just the name of the mag and I hope for it not to be thought of as an identity, so I won't judge AGP as "being trutrans" or not. I would consider AGP/AAP (not in the strictly Blanchardian sense, but instead meaning anyone who pursues cross-sex identity or transition mainly to fulfill sexual desire or embody their fetish) not to be trans.
