Working under their framework of TAR: Thoughts influence your Actions which lead to your Results - means to get different results, need to condition different thoughts. How?
Be sure you are actually expecting the outcome by working through the idea from “impossible” to “given”. Take the time to actually process and progress further.
You have to get honest and transparent with yourself and that begins with introspection and reflection.
Mind map your current thoughts/beliefs - actions/non-actions and results/non-results relative to your goals. See pic
When you look at your T-A-R chains (thoughts that beget actions creating results), consider all your intentions relative to your goals (ie: enjoy gourmet food and lose weight, or stay disengaged at work and get a promotion), make conscious decisions on which are in conflict and need to be balanced/culled/added.
There could be underlying false belief that is limiting your results (by restricting your actions) - do some digging and identify it (journaling, asking network, therapist?? Not really sure about how to find it).
Once you identify the belief, then find evidence that the polar opposite might be true. Then act with that thought in your head.
Observe different results with different thoughts & actions. Does your previous thought seem like the only possibility now?
