Read about the Booking dot Com scam phishing messages only a day or two ago and then i received such a message requesting payment (no i did not click the link):
"Criminals have gained access to the Booking.com accounts of some accommodation providers, using them to send messages to guests while posing as properties they have bookings with.":

I will add to the Famichiki cheese discussion. My husband bought a delicious creamy blue cheese from the Meitetsu cheesemonger and said it was Rockfall cheese. It was so good and I thought it was a brand name of cheese. Maybe American? Couldn’t find anything on Google.

Then it hit me. ロックフォール. It’s Roquefort cheese, not Rockfall! 😂

Very excited about the "Golden Kamuy" feature film being released tomorrow at cinemas in Japan, particularly with its Ainu content.
Also noted there is a version with Japanese subtitles getting limited cinema relase in early Feb, which I might also go see.
A friend on another app posted about a new Japanese book "Ainu Moyamoya" about Ainu visibility: part-manga/part-prose.
