Say what you will about the Borg collective, but at least it’s an ethos.

Any movie that depicts the pyramids of Giza as being in the middle of pristine deep desert is kind of funny. I mean, when you look up pictures online they are always angled to give the impression. It adds mystique to think the pyramids are at least a little difficult to reach. The reality is that the city goes basically right up to them. You can take a taxi from the city and get within American walking distance.

The pyramids are of course flooded with tourists, so any daring adventurer would in reality have to push their way past a family of six from Iowa to get to the hidden chamber of the pyramid.

Are you suggesting the show was all some sort of extended Twilight Zone bit where Fraiser had the consciousnesses of everyone else trapped inside of a world where he was essentially a god, and forced them to play out petty interactions, never letting the facade slip lest they incur his wrath?

Is Maris a living example of what happens when Fraiser is angered to the point of punishment? Is that why we never see her? Is her visage as a being that has no mouth but must scream so horrific that it must be hidden from the viewing audience at all costs?

And that explains why the original games are getting pulled from steam/gog.

Doesn’t it? The people making the new game don’t want to dilute focus on their new product. When somebody searches for Delta Force on Steam, they want it only to return the new game. This is like when Rockstar pulled classic GTA: SA before dropping the remaster.

I’m both posting as high output as I feasibly can of OC, and aggregating links from blogs and creators I follow to !tabletopminis, as a way to minimize reddit content.

!wargaming is also full of links to articles and blog content relevant to the hobby that isn’t ripped from reddit.

!warhammer40k has a small but regular community.

So many people complain about dead niche communities or niche communities only recycling reddit content. If that same energy was put in service to making new content, the communities would be improved. There is a bystander problem where loads of people complain, but if you check the profiler of the complainer, you often find few to no posts.

Sizewise, the Storm is comparable to a Glock 19, which is technically a compact model.

Original Storm Compact vs Glock 19 picture for reference.

I personally do think it’s quite large. I think “pocket pistols” are a more practical size for 24/7 carry. I do know some people who manage to lug around Glock 19s or even full metal guns in the same size range. I guess it all comes down to trading off shootability vs easy of conceal/comfort. For me, I take note that most people I know IRL who start off in the full size or even “compact” size either eventually switch to a “pocket pistol” or they get lazy about carrying. There are a few hardcore holdouts who do carry bigger stuff, so I suppose it takes knowing if you’re the type to actually carry it or not.

The one in the article also has a flared magwell for some inexplicable reason on a supposed CCW.

You claim to be loyal to The Legion, yet you pronounce the word as “Caesar”.

Curious.
