I suppose that he's entitled to his opinion, but I would personally like to be able to buy third-party content if someone wants to produce solid stuff. I would also like Bethesda to have a financial incentive to support mods effectively.
I don't think that that is an unreasonable roadblock to someone creating free mods. There is a lot of commercial software out there in the world, and there is a lot of free, open-source software out there, and they coexist.
Chickenstalker, No. If Todd has the foresight to create built in mod tools, then He (Shaitan) will monetise it. Better for modders to kludge along as before because Todd (Belial) will be too confused to block it.
