@DJDarren Yeah I hate dunking too. People who I generally liked did, at I think the culture on Twitter brought out the worst in them.
As people have pointed out, it's possible to QT here, and people do it in one form or another. Overall I think the culture on Mastodon (at least in my circles) is generally less toxic.
I just made the mistake of trying to engage with the chatbot on a major petstore website. It is so nauseatingly twee that now I want to go and burn their store down
I have all four of these connected to one keyboard and trackpad, for no sane reason, and it is glorious. I just keep running the cursor around all four screens because I can.

I'm struggling to make a Top 10 album list this year.
All the music I've liked has been very mood dependent.
There's some great Doom albums, cool Stoner Metal, catchy and weird melodic albums. But I tend to only appreciate them when it suits the current moment in time.
While I ponder this further, I'm gonna listen to In Flames and 'Forgone', cause I'm in the mood for some high energy Melodic Death Metal.
As one's kids enter their final years of education, there's an idea to pay less attention to them, step back, and let them figure it out for themselves.
On the other hand, there's finding 10-day old lunches growing mould in their bedrooms...
