I had mostly no clue what I was doing. Managed 2 turns against a Death Guard force and 2 turns against a Space Marine one. (three of us with limited time)
I think I have some work to go before I know how to beat these two. Both are super tough and I've no idea how to play to my strengths.
PS. The fact that Typhus cleaved his way through the entire Destroyer unit in a single combat round makes me sad. They didn't get a chance to do anything and they're supposed to be tough (?)
I've been working on a small 1000pt list for my first game of 10th this weekend. The list building app and battlescribe not being makes sharing it a bit of a challenge.
I am definitely leaning hard into the grey tide as much as I can. It really is crazy how much a block of warriors with a lord or overlord attached can just shrug off wounds/loses. I'm also going to try attaching my Technomancer to some sword and board Lychguard and see how long they last.
As for winning, of course it will win. The eternal empires can never fail. Nihilakh Ascendant!
The points difference isn't too bad compared to my 9th edition list. I'm not too surprised the monolith points are very high but that is some sticker shock.
I have a feeling Canoptek Reanimators are about to get hard to find with their new rules. Overall I really like the way units interact with the new reanimation protocols rules. Necrons seem insanely robust now.
