Well, maybe not wizard typecast, but typecast to play much older than he was. He was only 63 when he first played Gandalf. To put it in perspective, that’s only one year older than Tom Cruise is right now.

What I don’t understand is why movies like Flash also look shitty although that one was getting postponed for literal years. Plenty of time to improve the visuals.

On the contrary, I would suggest it’s voting for people that’s the problem. People should vote for parties and their policies, not some face you like or dislike.

Wahnsinn, dass er trotzdem noch eine gute Chance hat gewählt zu werden. Aber hat ja auch mindestens zwei Frauen vergewaltigt (eine davon minderjährig) und das interessiert seine Kult-Anhänger ja auch nicht. Das Einzige, was vielleicht einen Ausschlag gibt, ist das er damit als “Loser” dasteht.

Er tritt halt leider gegen einen noch älteren Biden an, der seine Erfolge nicht gut verkauft und mit dem Gaza-Krieg viele Wählerschichten vergrault. Vom massiven digitalen Propaganda-Apparat Putins mal ganz abgesehen, der alles daran setzen wird, dass sein Kandidat gewinnt (denn dann kann die Ukraine leider einpacken).

There is definitely a difference between DVD and Bluray, even if you are not that close to the TV. You might be nearsighted? ;) Just kidding, but I can’t imagine how one can’t see a difference there. I do agree that there are diminishing returns with 4K-Blurays though. Since your 4K TV usually upscales the image anyway, it’s really hard to see a difference unless you have a really big TV or watch with a beamer.

That’s what happens when people who don’t understand LLMs try to profit off of LMMs. You can be sure that the actual programmers at Google told corporate that this would be the exact thing that would happen, but corporate pushed ahead anyway. The programmers shrugged, did their job, and brushed up their CVs just in case.

More like Mother Nature being oblivious to humans because we are only an abberation in this planet’s biological history. Our biggest accomplishment being that we started another mass extinction but we’re far from the first organism either (that would be algae if I remember correctly).
