I think AI works well as an assistant for creative problems. But businesses are shoving large language models on everything they can think of. It’s basically a fad.

Why do people throw out old motors, bicycles, anything metal into rivers and lakes instead of a junk yard or the trash system?

I have been watching magnet fishing and people love to toss stuff over bridges without a second thought on the environmental impact. Hiding evidence I can almost understand but not lawnmowers, car batteries, etc....

Ads are fine in the form of search results that are clearly marked as sponsored. The issue with ads are when they are manipulative, intrusive, obnoxious or have sketchy data collecting

Considering the voting age is 18, vast majority of voters won’t have to do it. Probably none of them considering it’s a 2025 thing

I don’t think it’s wasting a year of life- you’ll learn important skills surely. There’s something about it not being compulsory either. So it’s basically a volunteering program. Some people at that age still don’t know what to do with their life, so it could be helpful

Tbh as much as this annoys me, if it became mandatory I wouldn’t really resist it. Because I can see the necessity of it, and it could easily do me some good.

Not really, generally you need degrees to do this stuff. Would be good to be able to try out different jobs with experience

Lazarus was dead, as Jesus is literally God and had the authority to raise Lazarus. That’s not the same thing as applying the human standard of a 24 hour day to the more vague Hebrew word “yom”. There’s no denomination of Christianity that claims their religious founder was guided to the true translation. That sounds more like a splitoff religion such as Mormonism or Jehovah’s Witnesses (Seriously, if they are “Christian” then so is Islam) The King James Onlyists exist but King James was Anglican while they are typically a form of Baptist.

Exactly. As a Christian we should be caretakers of the earth because God saw it and it was good and made us to look after it
