I’m in my 50s and I can’t do paper maps. I can navigate just fine without Google maps but I navigate by landmarks while paper maps seem to rely on knowing road names, which I don’t.
That too. I actually didn’t think of that because roads here aren’t in a grid like ever so I failed to understand how numbering your roads would even make it easier.
I know this is kind of random. I’ve got a black necklace with a long round pendant on it, and I think I look better topless when I wear it. I’m not sure why.
It will depend on the person but for me personally I love crazy fashion, my ideal world is where everyone dressed like they were in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. So a necklace with a massive gemstone that looks like it contains the souls of a long dead race is ideal.
I have exactly the same issues with Sims 3. My PC is pretty much as powerful as it’s gonna get but Sims 3 with all the performance tweaks and mods just won’t run properly, it’s downright unplayable. Too bad it’s my favourite Sims.
Does anyone actually buy the Sims games? Like the full game costs a fortune, just sail the high seas, EA shouldn’t get a cent.
Fair enough, that’s a sense you build up over time with some plunder, or at least it was for me.
If you wanna try Sims 4 I’m using Sims 4 updater by anadius, that gets everything you need and keeps everything up to date (while having less of a footprint than Origin).
Libertarianism is a anti capitalist, socialist and very left wing ideology everywhere except in the US where it apparently has been co-opted by insane people with the opposite beliefs.
Jägerbombs do that. I have a vague memory of having those for the first time with some friends and because they are quite tasty and the energy drink keeps you going you don’t really notice when you had too much. So my memories of it are basically drinking the 7th one, then (probably hours later) stumbling from tree to tree to keep me steady and then waking up in my bathtub.
I tried playing Sims 3 again recently and holy hell is the performance bad. Like the FPS is running at whatever I cap it at but there are constant freezes and stuttering with no FPS drops even with all the recommended performance mods. I then remembered I stopped playing for that very reason ages ago and now my desktop is like 100x more powerful.
I really like 4X games but nothing new in that genre has really drawn me in. Stellaris was the last one that I really played a ton of and still do. I actually wanna start a new game with all the new expansions but playing without Gigastructures is heresy, hope it gets updated soon.
Germany really is cooked. You guys got the nazi party 2 electric boogaloo so close to being in power that it’s ridiculous, your green party shuts down nuclear only to start shoving excessive amounts of coal into atmosphere, you guys took such wrong lessons from the holocaust that now you are just defending another genocide because a Jewish ethnostate is doing it and now this.
They way coalition governments here work is that before forming a coalition they agree on a general idea of what to do and what they are absolutely not on-board with and if the coalition government does something that is absolutely against your party you can just exit the coalition basically dissolving the coalition government. Are you saying that in Germany coalition members don’t have the ability to stop an action that should go against everything your party should stand for?
Also isn’t the AfD the second most popular party currently?
Around here when swine flu went through the country we basically lost the whole pork industry because the first priority was to eliminate the disease. Does the US want a pandemic to be named after them? Because it seems to head in that direction. I think Freedom Flu is a pretty catchy name personally.
Do you mean ancaps? Because I’m pretty sure most libertarian would be for universal healthcare. I have heard Americans use libertarian for ancap which are pretty opposing ideologies, I’m not sure what’s up with that.
The idea that you just have loose ammo in the folds of your bags instead of crumbs is so insane and also so stereotypical of americans. 12 years is a little much but I have less sympathy since the US constantly locks citizens of other countries away for longer for less dangerous offences.
Like around here if you store ammo inappropriately like this will get your gun license yoinked permanently faster than you can blink. Like the dangerous part of owning guns is the ammo, without it guns are just an ineffective club, and ammo can go off without a gun.
