A million percent this. Linux is great for servers at work but I don’t want to spend my free time doing what I do every day at work. I just want things to be hassle free. But also at the same time, fuck Win11. My 8 year old PC still runs the latest games with a nvme and a better gf card, why do I need to toss it out.
They’re also a piece of shit company and their OS sucks so much. I’d rather use Linux over OSX any day. The fact that I’ve been working on an apple project for the last year now has made me despise them even more than I did before.

Besides what everyone else has said, she was also having issues with space sickness and the station was more stationary and caused her less issues.
Terry Farrell wanted to be a recurring character in DS9, she just didn’t want to do it full time anymore. When her contract period came to an end at the end of season 6, and no one approached her about renewing it, she decided it was her que to leave. But instead of having her leave the station, they decided to just completely kill her character off. I feel like she may have well stayed seeing it was canceled in the next season.
So much this. I spent probably 2 hours try to get something to work that it said would work before giving up, spending 5 minutes to Google and finding the solution that I could use to get what I wanted done and more.
I think that one could be partially valid based on the subtitle, we just have too many chores and BS that we have in our lives that there is no balance. I don’t agree with the headline but I can see some validity in it.
I find the UI in signal a bit off putting. Telegram grabs you with their funky stickers, clean UI and dumb features. I alps hate that Signal won’t bother copying the messages to a new client… Like, I have a 1Gbps connection, surely we can copy my chat histories from my phone to my PC? Nope, gotta start fresh on every new client…
If they did less dumb shit like adding statuses, and put some more effort into making the UI nice, more people would use it.
