I want to get into Doctor Who, but it seems daunting and massive, any suggestions where to start?

Should I watch all 20 years of the original run or just begin with the new one which I think is been around for 15 years? What are the best episodes? I’ve seen only a handful of the old and New ones but I liked what Ive seen, just hoping for a guide to really get into it

Whippygoatcream,

Start with the modern reboot. First episode is a little dry, but later episodes rely heavily on sneaky references to events prior. Especially the specials. Don’t be afraid to rewatch episodes as well. The dialogue can move quickly and I’ve always picked up on details I missed during the first playthrough. Definitely worth it.

Whippygoatcream,

Put 2 slices in the same side of the toaster. Then spread everything ont the toasted side. Melty goodness with soft outside.

Whippygoatcream,

Pineapple and Spicy Italian Sausage. Sweet n spicy is a glorious combination.

Who am I posting/commenting as?

I’m writing this from the post page. Nothing here tells me who I’m signed in as. Same thing for comments. If I want to find out that answer, I have to back out all the way to the timeline. I wish when I was making additive actions like posting and commenting that I could see which account I have selected. “Posting as...

Tesla That Killed Driver Was Airborne During High-Speed Collision

"the car actually hit the top of a tree along Atwater before coming to a stop around the intersection of Atwater and South Eastside Drive, according to police. The damage to the tree can still be seen on the other side of a memorial at the base of the first tree the vehicle hit as it caught air."

Whippygoatcream,

This article doesn’t specify, and I’m not a fan of tesla by any means, but how is it the car’s fault? I thought teslas deactivate autopilot when imput from the steering wheel is lost. So if the driver fell asleep, that would deactivate autopilot and essentially be the driver’s fault.

Whippygoatcream,

I personally prefer silicone-based lube for back door play. Lasts a LOT longer, doesn’t get sticky (can get dry, but nowhere near as quickly as water-based, in which case, just apply more lube,) and the overall glide just feels better imo. Clean-up is a little bit more intensive. Just a light scrub with soap and warm water, instead of a quick rinse or wipe. Toy play is a good warm-up. Just make sure your toy is specifically compatible with silicone-based lube or else you risk major problems.

Whippygoatcream,

I stole a phrase from a previous coworker that I have since used in place of “You know what I’m saying?” Or “Picking up what you’re putting down.”

Now I like to say to people “Do you smell what I’m stepping in?”

I found it hilarious at the time and shamelessly stole the phrase lol

Sync can sometimes be buggy upon new updates, but it is, by far, the best in terms of customization. AFAIK LJD is still a lone dev for the app, so understandably, there are some gaps before major updates if the app isn’t running well. He just rolled out a lot of major fixes, and I’m happier than ever. It’s definitely worth a try. There are a lot of settings to play with. Don’t just dismiss it overnight.
