I'm about to move to a new room in Tokyo.
Things you get asked when ordering the new internet connection: "Hey, instead of your 1GBit for 4500yen, how about 10GBit for 6200yen?"
I was about to agree.. but although they have the 10GBit already terminated in the new mansion, it's not yet in the new room and would take 2 weeks.. so will stay with 1GBit for now.

I'm trying to clean my floor properly, but it's just a mess.

I don't even know what kind of flooring it is. I think it is a vinyl wood look-alike.

There seems to be wax on it and to clean it properly you have to remove the wax and put on another layer.

What a mess.

Anyone have experience with Japanese flooring?

Fuck the bōsōzoku culture! That's probably one of the thing I hate the most in Japan. Note that in France we have similar young people trafficking their bikes mufflers to make more noise as well, but the bōsōzokus are revving like crazy, the noise is unsupportable.

Bought a bed frame and a mattress. The mattress was super heavy, so I had a hard time... My back hurts.
It was fun to see the mattress unroll itself though.

2 months and 23 emails later, I should be able to sign the contract for my new apartment on Monday!

I managed everything in Japanese, since all our discussions were by email, I could cheat and use tools like Google Translate. Over the phone or in real life it would be much more complicated.

I still managed the visit in Japanese, I got the famous "日本語が上手ですね。" :reverse_grimacing:

Finally finished learning all the N5 vocabulary on bunpro.jp.
Need to finish N5 grammar as well, so that N5 is fully completed... Yay... Long way to go.
