Random SwiftUI question: is there a way to force SwiftUI's TabView to create all its views' bodies immediately? Say tab 3 kicks off a network request when a subview is created and it'd be great if it started immediately

In UIKitLand loadViewIfNeeded() worked well for this, but I can't figure out how to get SwiftUI to create the view

I could manually cycle between them (and it persists obviously), but that feels hacky

@axiixc That's what I was afraid of. Web views are such a mess in SwiftUI as soon as you try to untie their lifecycle from the lifecycle of their hosting view ;_;

Tried 3D printing a simple box-thing for a project yesterday. A 5 hour job. Box-like structures always take forever to print.

It didn't fit quite right.

Dammit!

Slight redesign, printed it again over night.

@bigzaphod This is where parametric CAD like Fusion 360 is so awesome, you can just add like an “allowance” variable of 0.1 mm and if it doesn’t quite fit change the variable, the entire design reflows, and print again!

Update: I have made what I can only describe as "a sort of coin purse thing with an entrance too small to be at all useful", but it was fun! It's also kinda like a really… small backpack with no straps

Update on long USB-C cable journey: bought this 15-foot one per recommendations and it's been awesome, not too thick, charges great (only loses 3W versus a 3 ft cable when charging at 100W)
