clay_pidgin,

He actually drives a Lamborghini tractor that’s too big for his farm!

clay_pidgin,

That looks fun as heck, and I wasn’t a particular MMPR fan growing up.

clay_pidgin,

For when you’re feeling “not so fresh” down there.

clay_pidgin,

Excellent stick, cool playground, and good parenting to crop out your spawn.

clay_pidgin,

Was that the game with the huge map of the U.S. ? I saw a video about that game being killed and was sorry I missed it.

clay_pidgin,

I’m very happy here. I joined during the reddit blackouts, and honestly I picked it because of the name and was comforted by The Dude and later his deputies’ soft hand on the community.

I mostly browse /all, but I do spend time on /local to see my neighbors and it’s fun to watch the communities grow!

clay_pidgin,

Woah, I don’t remember it looking like dog ass!

I redrew my character (just inking, I don't have time to color him!) and took into account all the helpful feedback, hope you guys enjoy! (lemmy.world)

I found also I got too nervous drawing a tall character horizontally and felt more confident in drawing him anatomically better. Took into account also the sword handle but hands I felt were fine. I take influence from Jamie Hewlett’s Tank Girl and the old 80’s “Heavy Metal MAgazine” comics

I see that too. It’s noticeable but not bad.

Our [New Scientist] writers pick their favourite science fiction books of all time (www.newscientist.com)

This is an interesting list. It’s missing some of the true great classics, like Frankenstein, and it has a number of unusual, less well known titles, but there’s a lot to like on it. There’s certainly a lot for people to disagree about, but it may well have your less often cited favorites, too. What do you think?

clay_pidgin,

I got it because I love Sir Perry’s Discworld books, and was blown away by how much I liked it!

clay_pidgin,

“Kemet” is one way to write “Egypt” in ancient Egyptian. The transliteration doesn’t have vowels so the Es are guesses. The neo-pagan religion themed on ancient Egypt is called “Kemetic Orthodoxy”.

clay_pidgin,

It does! I’d watch that.

clay_pidgin,

Not that far, to the best of my knowledge. It’s basically Egypt-themed Wicca, I think.

clay_pidgin,

Since there’s no way to tell how far away these things are from the camera there’s no way to get even a reasonable estimate of their speed or size!

clay_pidgin,

Whose house you visit, when you go to a strip club, brothel, toy store. Some cars have internal cameras and many have microphone.

📄 rule (sh.itjust.works)

alt-textIt blows our hivemind that the United States doesn’t use the ISO 216 paper size standard (A4, A5 and the gang). Like, we consider ourselves worldly people and are aware of America’s little idiosyncrasies like mass incarceration, the widespread availability of assault weapons and not being able to transfer money via...

clay_pidgin,

How many have yours got? More or fewer?

I have seen legal/letter sized clipboard with two rings, for the short end of the paper.

clay_pidgin,

Yeah, I’ve seen most of these and I had no idea.

clay_pidgin,

I read one of my grandma’s Ken Follet books as a teen and thought it was fun and I very much enjoyed the sex. As an adult I agree with your girlfriend, it’s badly written. Airport books, is probably a good category for them.

clay_pidgin,

I just finished rereading Stranger in a Strange Land by Heinlein, one of my all time favorites.

I’m reading Against the Fall of Night by Clarke now. I love how big Clarke books feel.

clay_pidgin,

I’ve never actually smelled a stinkbug, now that I think of it. I catch and release by hand for my house without issue. Never noticed a ladybug smell either. Interesting!
