@ruud Good tip. I’ve tried this before but use it so seldom that having a specific app for it seemed overkill. A reverse image search online ( or ) usually does the trick. I was just lazy today and asked Mastodon. 😅

That's why I made a Search Focus that will only return results from websites and .

You can try it by going to the Mojeek Focus Dashboard and turning the feature on.

It was more that the top results for many queries are populated with nonsense articles that are purely written to hit the top results in search results and serve you adverts, and not actually be a useful, well thought through article.

Dear websites, there's exactly zero cases when I would like to download a PDF instead of viewing it in the browser. Don't do it. Just don't.

(if I'll ever make my own web browser, it would intentionally lack support for the Content-Disposition header)

It's crazy when I see my co-workers who can't touch-type. Like, did I also used to be that slow?

Learning to touch-type is probably one of the best choices I've ever made. It only took like two weeks to learn (plus about a month to get used to it).

It's also just so fun and satisfying. Clickity-clackity :meowbongo:

@dopey_kun @jussi I work in tech and I get so confused when I notice a colleague who I’ve been working with for years can’t touch type. Like, I get that it’s a skill but I just imagine you’d pick it up over the years if you get paid 8 hours a day to sit in front of a computer. 🫥

Do you have a cat and do you feed it pouches of food and do you tear open those pouches with your hand at the point that is specifically made for tearing instead of cutting them with scissors and does the cat food juice spray across your hand almost every time you open it or is that just me?

@snail oh, I do the shaking! Quite often, because my cats have so few teeth left, I mush it up in the pouch too before the shake and open. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I don't do any mushing and pour it out as one slab and make the furballs do some work for once. 😅
