Very cool looking building. Awesome to hear they want to convert the surface lot just south of it to mixed apartments/condos too. Time to fill downtown back up with residents.
The gist is that the player’s union contract runs through 2030 and the TV contract through 2033. Along with that, the current offer by the Bengals has taxpayers on the hook for 86% of the costs vs. 14% put in by the team. That was also for just a five year lease as of the email dated August 8, 2023.
It most definitely looks like the Bengals are looking to fleece the county yet again despite being worth 4 billion dollars.
I find it odd they can’t get those storefronts leased. What is the issue? Too high of rent or…? Plenty of potential customers literally above and around them.
I think the idea of building more and building freaking surface lots should be a nonstarter too. No reason for surface lots pretty much anywhere in the city. Want parking? Put it in a garage.
