for years I’d kind of ignored Sword Art Online, justifying it with what I heard that was negative about it. More recently I got curious and kinda wanted to see what the deal was with it that it’s been so enduring and essentially blowing up the VRMMO anime genre.
Just finished it and while there were some bits I didn’t like (second arc antagonist 😒) I enjoyed it quite a bit overall!
A lot of what I’d heard was kind of overblown compared to how things were in the show, which was nice. All a long way to say, that was fun, need to remind myself I can check things out if they’re interesting to me and not feel bad about that.
