I could see video games made in Japan using something like this. Instead of clicking through text over and over again to silence and background music we could have the characters be fully voiced.
Meta has done a lot of good for open-source models, however I still can't really see what their end-game is... To overthrow and become the next ChatGPT and monopolize the internet? Or is it just to enhance their "Metaverse" to uprise the rise of AR (which is what Google/Alphabet is trying to push)? It's a good contribution nevertheless, but I feel dubious about the purpose of their goal.
exciting. honestly I'm becoming more fond of meta after their rebrand. their focus on vr, ai, and they're gonna do a fediverse thing too yeah? interesting to see where it goes.
No surprise that this was released after Abobe added generative fill to photoshop. I think it’s good that the current AI image generators seemed focused on different use cases/innovating along different paths, I think it will lead to more innovation as a whole.
