So glad you went with PODs. It takes away so much angst. We used some of their POD people at the old house, but they were horrid. The ones we used at the new place were wonderful. Luck of the draw I guess. Good luck with the packing!
@GottaLaff We gott some stuff delivered in a POD last year. Rather they tried to deliver it. It comes on a REALLY BIG truck. They couldn't get it in here because of the trees.
@GottaLaff It was the size of the truck, not the size of the POD that was the problem. Our neighbor has gotten a dumpster in here that was bigger than the POD, but it must have been delivered on a smaller truck.
@GottaLaff Just a warning about those pods, and I’m sure they’re not all the same. Last summer I had a few U Haul pods to contain all the stuff from the very crowded room where I was replacing the floor with hardwood. The pod leaked. I called U Haul about it, and the guy said, “These are represented as being water resistant, not water proof.” So I had to put a tarp over it.
