I saw this lovely #dog yesterday in the metro. He was very friendly and he wanted me to touch him and he licked my hands. He had only one eye. #dogsofmastodon#suomimastodon#finland

We had Gunner since he was a puppy so getting rid of him was never an option. I actually took him to the same eye veterinarian that the St. Louis Zoo uses, it was very expensive but he was family.
We just never rearranged the house after he lost his vision. Our black lab Ajax also served as his seeing eye dog, he helped him get outside to use the bathroom. After a while Gunner didn't need much help but Ajax was always there if he needed it.
