@EndeavourOS Tbh it's been in our backlog for quite a while. And there still are some issues to tackle, like an OEM mode for users running a simple setup of their system at first boot.
But we'll get there! ✊

@vinzv @EndeavourOS Nice, but does Tuxedo meanwhile provide some hardware which is capable to run completely with free open source drivers?

Or in other words would Parabola run which is basically Arch without non-free stuff, or Debian without the non-free repo?

Typically an Intel or AMD gpu for good UX but more important it's mostly the wifi card which still needs proprietary firmware.

Framework and System76 has for example already some hardware where this theoretically should be possible.

@streetcoder You can always replace the wifi cards by some free firmware driven ones. Our warranty conditions explicitly allow you to do so.

The reason we decided to not ship them is, that these models most of the time have significant lower transfer rates or signal strength. While it should be okay for most users, our approach is to offer the best hardware possible - even if it comes with the caveat of having to use non-free binaries.
