@tbernard Slightly off-topic, but damn, Inter looks good here! We should experiment a little with the font weights of various Shell/libadwaita components while trying out Inter there, as I think it requires slightly different weights compared to Cantarell to reach its full potential of "expressiveness" :)
@bragefuglseth@tbernard Is there a plan to swap out Cantarell in GNOME with Inter eventually? Because ... that would be super cool given how common the font is in the wild now and how much of the web also uses it!
@pojntfx We're looking into it, the reason being that Cantarell is basically unmaintained. Inter, on the other hand, has an active community and is actively integrating support for new, modern font features. The main blocker right now is that Inter has various rendering issues on our stack, but that's solvable in the long term.
