River Lavant, Chichester is a 'winterbourne', it runs dry in the summer. Parts that run through the city are paved -- you can walk it, dodging bridges. First visit to this interesting city -- I would like to return in winter or spring and see how much water is flowing. I think the immediate #geology here is Greensand?
