@lappenjammer Oh, I don't really know the answer to your first question, but often you'll find busses and trains run a Sunday timetable on bank holidays, so they run, but not as frequently as a usual Monday.
Edit: Scotrail seems to be running a normal service. Busses will probably vary, our local ones are running a Sunday service.
@eclectech Thank you! I just checked, the bus runs once an hour. I just have to time things a little better then.
I intend to throw cows from Doune Castle and would have been sad to miss it 😁
