ray,

Howdy, a month ago I got kicked out by my family a week before top surgery. All has gone well and I'm set up somewhere temporary, but my budget is drained from surgery and unexpected moving costs. If anyone can help, I would like to get a head start on owning any furniture, getting shelves so my stuff isn't in bags, getting a trash can so I'm not using a garbage bag in a box etc.

ray,

Thank you for everyone who helped with my top surgery as well.

I'm on disability so I have income, but my initial plan was to stay with my family for another year to have some savings for emergencies and be able to get basics when I move out. I'm not paying rent here for now so depending on how long housing support takes, I may be able to save some by then, but moving will still cost a lot of money and ideally will be in a few months rather than a year.

ray,

I've been streets homeless, I've been extremely financially tight, so compared to that even though right now I'm running my account to 0 every month, I have enough for food and meds and everything. But I was planning on replacing old cheap stuff, getting stuff I need, just finally preparing to actually have what I need to live rather than living out of my suitcases. And I'd still really like to do that as much as I can despite the situation

ray,

Also here is the twitter link for anyone who still does that https://twitter.com/raysberrypie/status/1790092010109427829
