I wouldn’t think so. Apart from the “Secret” in the name, I don’t think there was a real link in the comics. Secret Invasion dealt with Skrulls invading Earth, while Secret Wars I thought was some sort of mega-crossover event where a lot of superhero’s/villains were teleported to Battleworld to fight in some big battle royale. It’s most notably where Spider-man picked up his black symbiote suit, but obviously Sony shot their load early on that one.
Holy smokes, the Avengers movies got bumped an entire year. I wonder if they're trying to find a replacement for Johnathan Majors as Kang or if they've decided to go on an entirely different direction for a villain.
I wonder if they think it will be enough time to know if they can use him. If not, they will probably postpone again just like they did with season 2 of Loki.
At any point in time it’s one of three different movies.
It’s Captain America: The First Avenger when I’m thinking about how perfectly cast Chris Evans is as Steve Rogers.
It’s Guardians of the Galaxy when I’m in the mood for a modern space swashbuckler with a great ensemble cast.
It’s Spider-Man: No Way Home when I think about the audaciousness of including three different Spidermen from the past 20 years in the same movie and because the ending sets us up for the Tom Holland as your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man movie I’ve always wanted.
The first Guardian's really changed my out look on the marvel cinematic universe. I was worried they wouldn't be able to make movies based off more obscure characters.
I don’t think I will ever get tired of watching the first Guardians movie. It was able to spark something the other ones haven’t been able to again. Winter Solider would be the second.
There are a lot of marvel movies to love, and my favorite changes all the time, but I really enjoy the original Spiderman film. Willem Defoe as Green Goblin is great, the casting as a whole is great. Something about the movie is just tonally different from modern superhero movies. It almost takes itself too seriously, or rather, it was rooted in a different level of reality than the current MCU. I love it!
