Sure wish I did not have to read to the end of your write up to discover that it doesn't cover the 80m,40m,20m,17m amateur radio bands. Nice write up though.

@cyclical_obsessive A few SDR sticks go that low, but I haven't seen good reports about performance. HF converters to remap 1-30 MHz up into VHF seem to be the way to go.
