Took the nursa into a Distro Center for some elimination missions, and though we didn't need it, it was nice to be able to slllooowly drive through and even use the vehicle as a defensive barricade!
We (Arts&Crafts) recreated

@sotogaming Wow, I'm happy the event worked out for someone out there... I've been trying to catch a glimpse of the fleet since day 1, and it just seems to be completely gone. Now station screens won't even show us info on where they're supposed to be! :sadmsn:
So we have a sighting of our first "module" in the wild? This little passenger dohickey that can be used with the MPUV carrier is kind of cool, but I can see people saying "sure I'll ferry you to the station!" and then heading out and dropping them off in their sardine can as far from the station as the MPUV can travel without running out of gas.
#StarCitizen’s graphics are simply stunning. And that’s just the little tutorial habitat. Which I’ve not yet managed to leave 🤣
Apparently, I need to eat and drink first, which I failed at yesterday. I’d picked up a box which I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to put down 😅
Today I managed to eat and drink. But drinking isn’t correctly advancing the tutorial so all that’s left is to admire the amazing level of detail.
@scopique I would expect that in the future indeed. Probably with the full introduction of Vulcan so it can work with dense visual occlusion calculations. I hate that Area 18 is so, SO small. Of course you'll never be able to walk around the planet in a city-esque environment like we can do with "planetary" environment...I guess.
With full persistence, someone somewhere would build a lair for sure.
@Plus_Ultra I think that would open the door to all kinds of QOL features like spreading out living spaces and even multiple landing zones to take the heat off of central locations.
Hell, let people rent property and open storefronts. Persistent shops with custom content. Bad sections of town for PvP. Mission opportunities.
Be me: but he has video showing that it's easy to escape
be them: Yeah but they're still wrong
be me: .. how is he wrong when he has video showing it?
be them: completely ignores me and proceeds to argue with others
Guy was trying to say that MM screws industrial ships because they can never get away now. I see a lot of arguments saying this, but that's not what I'm SEEING in action.
#StarCitizen SCL confirmed bed logging will be a buff if you get a good night's sleep, but bed logging will not be a requirement. You'll log out and log in where you left off.
YES this is exactly how it should be, and it's what I've been suggesting for quite awhile now.
@ezlin So now there is even less reasons to take anything other than dedicated fighter ships to most locations? The entire selling point of ships with beds was the ability to log out wherever, whenever you wanted... What is the new buff?
I'm not mad though, I think it was unrealistic to implement this feature to begin with. People have lives outside of the game Mr. Roberts, took a while for him to figure that out 🙃
#StarCitizen 3.23 wipe confirmed on SCL today. aUEC and rented ships were mentioned specifically.
100% expected this. They explained that it's for their analytics regarding their changed economy, which is obvious and was fully expected but there we go!
