8 years after his predecessor vetoed a bill enshrining the #Bible as the official state book, Gov. #BillLee signed into law a measure making a version of the Holy Book one of #Tennessee's 10 official tomes.
The purpose was clear: to send a message that Tennessee favors #Christianity over other forms of worship, or lack thereof.
