@The_BookishWolf@bookstodon@romancelandia@alttextgroup and this is why I don't join book clubs. There are tons of movies better than the booksand I'm not just talking about opinions (which, let's face it, this mostly is). Older books can be problematic and modern adaptation can fix this.
