With everything that's been happening recently in the streaming community, is it a dumpster fire over there? I've been pleasantly surprised with the lack of 'Bungo plz' in my feed recently.
Yeah it’s weird but usually when Destiny says something has a “chance” to happen it’s actually an invisible progress meter based off of kills, damage, etc. Super odd they don’t just say that in game.
Mark my words as the real J.C. Denton, the final shape will be awful. The story will be lame, the exotics will be forgotten, and prismatic won’t be used because why should I use ad clear subclasses instead of boss damage supers. The only thing that will be redeemable is the raid, and no one will complete it within 24 hours because of the 3 day preparation.
Yeah they didn’t nerf Well enough to not make it mandatory for most encounters. They also don’t say anything about stacking it with a rift.
I think the problem is more encounter design than Well itself. 90% of boss encounters are some version of “stand still in area to do damage”. It the same reason Rhulk is such a good boss fight.
I am glad both are hopefully not going to be oppressive in Trials anymore.
It’s worse than that, actually. They made the damage buff last 8 seconds after you leave well so it’s going to be more viable in encounters like Rhulk where well previously wasn’t viable because you had to move. With the update you just have to touch the well every 8 seconds to refresh the buff.
Always happy to see healthy balance. Stasis and arc hunters got a nice boost. The well and bubble changes are welcome too. Looks like HoS14 is going to be competitive for defensive loadouts again
Not quite sure I understand the reasoning behind the Lament, but its healing factor definitely felt a little high. But 20% off is rough.
I’ve heard a lot of people complain about the Divinity nerf, but that was a long time coming. Weapons that can roll bait-n-switch + reconstruction, such as Apex Predator, can put you so far ahead of everyone else in the dps meter, that it’s almost unfair
If it only does the damage of a normal bullet then it can’t be very good, hopefully it does way more damage. It seems to one shot the enemies but we don’t know their health values.
This is kind of how I feel about all the exotics they showed this week. They all look meh until we know damage/health values and if there’s any other effects.
1000% agreed. My friend and I did it legit the first time and I’ve cheesed it ever since. The tormentors suppressing you while you’re in the air over the edge is just toxic. Glad you got it done tho!
