geography082, It was not possible to make it work from Ubuntu to iOS .
lemmyreader, Assumed this would work almost out of the box, but so far no luck with devices I’ve tried with 😪
alphacyberranger, Wish there was an option or button to turn off KDE connect when I’m outside my house
TheAgeOfSuperboredom, There’s a “Trusted Networks” setting to limit autodiscovery to certain networks. I don’t think it’ll completely disable the software, but it should prevent your phone from being visible to others.
alphacyberranger, I saw that option. It does help to an extend but not exactly what I wished for.
TheAgeOfSuperboredom, I hear you. It does make the software easier to use, but I also wish there was more control over when it was actually running. I usually just shut down the background process entirely until I want it running again, but it’s a manual process.
I’ve been wondering if something like Tasker would help but I’ve never looked into it.
alphacyberranger, I use superfreeze and made a shortcut to kill the app with minimal clicks. Without root access there isnt much Automate can do to kill apps. Don’t know about Tasker though.
