Oh, this had a downvote. So let me add an upvote, and a comment. I’ve had discussions with people about this. I don’t think I will ever change my deep belief that every cruelty administered derives from a cruelty or distress suffered in the past by either the abuser themselves or their ancestors, and that only taking abusers back into a womb of abundance can stop abuse in the long term.

Note to the abused: understanding where the abuse comes from does not mean you have to continue suffering it. You always have the right (and duty to yourself) to remove yourself from harmful and abusive situations.
