I’ve had too many beers in the previous weeks. Eventually went into a depressive rut that was hard to pull myself out. Went back on antidepressants for a bit and I found myself able to cut back on alcohol. The lack of drinking improved a lot of things. The antidepressants, however, messed up my sleep and I had trouble readapting.

I had my arm twisted and went to a bar last weekend. I had two zero percent beers. I was able to go out and not feel like crap the next day. That was important for me.

I’m undergoing medical exam, so I haven’t slept well, but I haven’t had any alcohol cravings.

When I quit drinking I stayed out of bars for a few months, I felt it was too risky, but different things work for different people. Good luck on your path!
