From what I've heard, Joytalk is fine. It's better than a lot of eikaiwas and ALT companies. The pay is just ok, but it's not a hard workload. If you don't have any issues with them, you'll be ok. Turn up to work, teach. That's it. The pay is lower than NOVA, etc. but it's more chill. They can get weird or unhelpful if they think you're causing trouble for them, though. Don't mistake their staff for your friends. It's business. Keep your tatemae up.
