[Canon EOS-T5] Photos viewable on camera are not visible on desktop (EndeavourOS)

My partner and I both have digital cameras. Hers is a Canon EOS Rebel-T5, and mine is an Olympus Tough TG-6. Both cameras will create subdirectories within the /DCIM/ folder, formatted as 10*CANON or 10*OLYMP.
