Netflix will be starting the New Year off strong with the news coming today that the streaming service US will be picking up multiple seasons of the Starz Original series Black Sails from January 1st.
This’ll definitely blow up once it hits netflix. I loved this show, the effort put into some of the combat scenes was above and beyond and I could never understand how it flew under the radar.
For anyone interested, this is a pretty dark prequel to treasure island with some incredible age of sails combat sequences that make master and commander look low budget.
