It was doing well enough ratings wise. After the merger they’re only going to put money into sure things. Prepare for more garbage lowest common dominominator content. Superheros!!! Although, gotta say I did really enjoy peacemaker. It’s like so dumb and intentionally bad, it’s like it’s making fun of the whole genre.
Absolutely dumbfounding decision, especially when their other good shows are ending or have already ended. There’s nothing left to give me a reason to subscribe to the service and I cancelled while mentioning this as the reason.
How to with John Wilson ended, Succession is over, Barry is over, they moved Minx off network, they don’t even have Westworld anymore (a show that hasn’t been good since its first season) and other things I can’t remember.
The app and the network are also no longer worth the price, and I have absolutely zero interest in the basic cable tier reality show content they’ve added in the last six months.
Dammit. I figured as much with how the end of this season wrapped up, but I wish they had kept going. Brody was excellent as Riley, and who doesn’t like John C Reilly?
Now I have to look up how Buss’ lawsuit played out.
