Hope they gave you useful stuff to help with pain relief or numbing. When I first started roughly a year or so on HRT, I didn't need any, but after a few years, my skin had changed so much and I was more sensitive in general, and it got to be a real challenge. Plan something nice to comfort and support yourself after - I always got a milkshake or smoothie to be like "Good job Joss!"
