@ai6yr A friend was there for a couple of years during COVID as her husband works for the State Dept. I had added visit Tunisia to my bucket list based on her photos. Gorgeous beaches and amazing Roman ruins are a hell of a combo!

@chrisod @ai6yr - I was there in September (selfie from the Monastir Ribat). Felt very safe (even with the issues in the ME kicking off at that time), and we drove all over the country, including right up to the Algerian border.

People are incredibly friendly, and it's absolutely chock full of cats (like many Mediterranean countries), but they love them there - more so than in Greece or Egypt.
