Overwhelmingly, this is not how hoarding cases pan out, I’d suggest.

The uplifting news here is that a man tried to help, got overwhelmed, reached out for help, and is on the way to finding a better situation for the cats. The article mentions a few times that the cats appear to be in good condition and well taken care of, which is astounding considering how much food and litter they required.
