I just need a VPN to download Linux ISOs from Torrent and newsgroups. PIA seems to be $80 for 3 years and they have been around for a long time. Some post are suggesting that they belong to a company with government ties and shit. Should I be concerned? There is any other VPN in that price range?

I’m thinking of moving from Mullvad to ProtonVPN mainly for the port forwarding, but I have some questions. The documentation on the ProtonVPN website is dated and I don’t know if it’s still accurate....

I'm using a Surfshark VPN and want to connect to Surfshark via the Wireguard protocol. I have installed the Wireguard program, downloaded the configuration file from the Surfshark website with the keys generated by Surfshark. However, when i press 'Activate' it keeps initiating a handshake but never completes....

Mullvad is removing port forwarding (https://mullvad.net/fr/blog/2023/5/29/removing-the-support-for-forwarded-ports/). Is there a credible alternative ?
