I’m a small artist but do sign my work. I’ve been enjoying Lemmy for some time now and want to push this community to interact more and grow! So I thought one way I could contribute is to do a little AMA about what it’s like as a signed artist making house music :)
If my husband couldn’t send me food pictures on Instagram all day long he’d wither up and blow away, so I have to keep it, but I took it off my home screen and only open it once a day to see what he sent me, otherwise I’d love to delete it. I still do use Facebook a lot because of keeping in touch with my old pre-Facebook social media friends from around the world, we haven’t come up with a replacement for Livejournal where we can all talk as intimately as we’re used to in longer form. I despise it though. Haven’t gotten on threads, never used WhatsApp.
It’s so strange that my province really hasn’t had any significant hot weather this year with literally everyone else melting to puddles everywhere else. I’m sorry for everyone having these awful hot days.
Yes my friend who lives there says that. It’s bizarre, Ontario usually has at least one hot week but really just a few slightly hot days. I’ll take it.
It’s the absolute worst but I use it because I have a lot of friends all over the world and that’s what we all seem to use. It’s so terrible. One day I’ll quit.
Before Facebook I used Livejournal, which was really one of the first social media sites. I still have friends from it 24 years later and Facebook is the easiest way to keep in touch with them unfortunately.
Idk, if you live with Americans like I did for a while they have a very different opinion of our accents, which I don’t even think we particularly have.
