Cryophilia,

We could both get jobs and then we could probably afford to buy a house

Gym partner

Easier/cheaper to cook for 2

Just a lot of life would be easier if I had someone I could trust 100% who also has all the same preferences and goals as me

Cryophilia,

Bernie bro conspiracy theories

Cryophilia,

I dunno what he said, but you called it lol

Cryophilia,

It’s a binary choice dude. One or the other will win.

I give somewhat of a pass to comments that say “Biden is the only sane choice, but he’s wrong for this”. Comments that just shit on Biden are obvious attempts to suppress the Democratic vote.

Cryophilia,

I think I’m already banned from there lol

Cryophilia,

Wrapped myself around a telephone pole several years ago in a 2013 SUV and didn’t have a scratch on me. Crumple zones are one of the greatest inventions of the past few decades.

Cryophilia,

Once again, we see how insular tech is.

Tech sector has a market correction, and you people think the sky is falling because the only people you ever talk to are other tech people.

Cryophilia,

If everywhere you go, everyone is abnormal, I have news for you

Cryophilia,

Ok, I’m gonna assume you get all of your information about America from memes.

…wikipedia.org/…/National_Guard_(United_States)#S…

Both the Army National Guard and Air National Guard are expected to adhere to the same moral and physical standards as their “full-time” active duty and “part-time” reserve federal counterparts.

The National Guard is very fit and professionally trained.

Cryophilia,

Then he’s wrong. The National Guard is the “well regulated militia”.

Cryophilia,

They would if they could lol

Cryophilia,

Neither side wants to negotiate here. Democrats want bans. Republicans want as much access as possible. Both sides view compromise as a temporary step towards their ultimate goal.

Cryophilia,

The simplest of measures is treated like a slippery slope to full bans

Is it not a first step leading to full bans? Look at this very thread.

Cryophilia,

It’s a generalization but absolutely true. I’m not going to get drawn into a “aha! But this one Republican dude in New Hampshire supports restrictions on guns therefore you are wrong” bullshit fest.

Cryophilia,

Moving an inch could lose you a foot, so no movement is possible.

I mean, this is a succinct description. You’re saying it as a criticism, but it makes perfect sense.

Cryophilia,

If I suspected you might be actually conversing in good faith, I’d expend the effort. But I’ve seen this kind of rhetorical trap before. It’s not quite sealioning, but similar.

Cryophilia,

Not scared, just unwilling.

Cryophilia,

Bringing up bans on military hardware actually supports the slippery slope argument very strongly. You’re already thinking about bans.

Cryophilia,

Big difference between saying “ha I’m not falling for that” and finding sources. The former requires little effort.

Cryophilia,

Why? Lots of people are calling for bans.

Cryophilia,

The electorate is unwilling. GOP Representatives are actually representing the wishes of their constituents on this one.

Cryophilia,
