In effect, Mr. Trump’s candidacy is becoming a referendum on what kind of justice system the country believes it has now and wants to have in the future
It’s enforced by a vote in congress as to if he’s eligible or not. Being that the one time this happened outside of participation in the civil war, it was a guy in congress, his chamber voted- but I assume it would take both houses to oust a president

assault and battery are both vaguely termed legal definitions that depend on what state you’re in.
in MN, there’s no legal definition for battery, with assault being defined with multiple levels ranging from ‘mere’ threats through “poked me on the arm” to beating the shit out of someone.
In WI, where this happened, it seems they’re the opposite with the only mention of ‘assault’ be related to sexual assault. and battery being similar to MN’s assault charges. Though, I only took a cursory look through their laws.
You may have noticed a distinct lack of return2ozma. This is due to their admitting, in a public comment, that their engagement here is in bad faith:...
I propose a hypothetical- that we all ignore a guy. The only assumption that I’m making is whatever his purpose is, it requires engagement.
If nobody engages, that account at least, goes away. Either R2O is here to troll, or to push a narrative or is in some other way a bad actor. All of that requires engagement.
Because of that, there’s no point in indulging in the rest of your thought experiment.
Well then. You’re free to indulge in the block button. Cuz that’s exactly what it’s there for.
Further, it doesn’t take a lot of people blocking him to remove the value in posting. there’s a diminished return the less engagement he gets. Unless he’s just a bot spamming shit everywhere, somebody is behind that account and is wasting time and energy on it. They’re going to find something else, somewhere else, or some other way, to spread their crap when they stop getting sufficient engagement.
I blocked him simply because I found myself recognizing his name and scrolling past. at that point, it’s just simpler to actually block a person.
not that would be radioactive enough to do the, uh, job, no.
(you can buy some depleted uraninum in small cubes and such for people trying to collect a periodic table of the elements, etc. Or you can just buy the ore on amazon…)
I mean, I kind of insist on well done steaks when I’m at my brother’s house… mostly because my SiL has some rather unsettling food safety practices. It’s possible to cook them so they’re not totally shoe-leather, but I would never go to a steak joint and order well done.
In my defense, I only notice because I really want him to kark it already. It’s a miracle he hasn’t. One wonders what the world has done to piss off satan lately.
First, firearms carried for protection are far more likely to harm the household of the person carrying it (or keeping it in the house) than they are to harm an intruder.
Secondly, fighting near the client or whoever is being protected is like the single biggest fuck up they can make. If trump were to turn and try and fight, that just gives the attackers more opportunity to put a bullet in him (and probably get way more people dead.
No… somebody attacks him, they’re grabbing his neck, and getting him the fuck out of there and into a fortress.
