Stop reading about concerts and start going to them. I just saw Lacuna Coil last night and had a blast. Most people weren’t on their phones either, save for during one song by the supporting band (New Year’s Day) where the singer specifically requested that everyone record it.

You’re not thinking it through at all. Medicine is a messy business, and sometimes it means you have to perform an abortion to save a woman’s life. If you were a doctor, would you want to move to a state where the government is going to second guess every medical decision you make and potentially hold you liable?

Whatever else you think about abortion, you should at least understand that nobody wants to be legally penalized because some politician who has never studied medicine in his life decided that your patient’s life wasn’t sufficiently threatened for you to be able to do your job properly.

The armed psychos they were talking about aren’t counted in the crime statistics, because they never get convicted of crimes. They just get put on administrative leave for a while, and then get brought back when the heat is off. Worst case scenario, they get fired, and move to another town to be an armed psycho there. And that only happens if the armed psycho union doesn’t scream bloody murder about it.

I’ve always been a big fan of the WWF undisputed championship that they had for a bit after unifying the WWF and WCW belts. It combines the best elements of the WWF Winged Eagle and the WCW Big Gold and makes something that just oozes class.

As for which ones get under my skin… honestly, the current WWE Championship design. It’s just the laziest design possible with a bunch of gemstones thrown on it.

You know, I kind of agree with her. I, too, am sick of politicians pretending to be something they’re not. So I appreciate her candor in revealing herself as a puppy-killing sociopath.

On a related note, I wouldn’t vote for her for any office on Earth, because the last thing we need is more puppy-killing sociopaths in charge.

(My dad would say, “I wouldn’t vote for her for dog catcher,” to say he thought she wasn’t fit for any office at any level, but when I think about it, that’s probably the office she’s least suited for.)

Give it a try. I really wanted Mastodon to be the next thing to replace Twitter (mostly because it isn’t, and can never be, controlled by techbros), but I’ve mostly found Bluesky to be the more fun place. And now that Dorsey’s officially out, I don’t have to feel as guilty about that.
