How often do you all esync/emerge for system updates?

I have a pattern set up for weekly but lately I’m wondering if that is excessive. I’d like to hear what other Gentoo users choose.

Off-the-shelf Samsung S20 running Android 13, – which is the same as my aging mother’s phone – because I could buy two identical phones and give one to my wife so when she has questions I know exactly how to provide both my mother and my wife with tech support.

I want to have a Linux phone, but I’m now old enough to realize that the benefits of simplifying my tech support role wayyyy outweighs any ‘tinker factor’ joys I might get.
