One thing I've seen talked about disappointingly little is how cPTSD episodes and flashbacks can lead to/resemble episodes of mania. The cPTSD survivor already feels alone in their trauma and the episode of mania aggravated by being triggered can make it even worse because people do not want to deal with mania because it's so often paired with sexually or aggressively inappropriate behaviour.

At a certain level, cPTSD hollows out your identity because flashbacks leave you with few people willing to stick through a bad mental health episode and episodes of behaviour you didn't understand or have full control over leave you feeling guilty and ashamed. The second-order effects of working through the shame of how the person behaved while they were manic makes the inevitable crash into depression that follows a bout with mania even more dramatic.

I wonder if I would get more follows again making myself the face of my account.

Do you get more support for your art online when people know you're female or do you just get more harassment and people encouraging you to literally sell yourself?

Do you get both? Is one worth the tradeoff of the other?

I do know my ongoing struggles with my self-image issues are definitely part of my journey as an artist, especially as someone who's chronically ill, nonbinary and had weight gain/loss related to illness.

I'm not sure whether I believe or not that you can separate the art from the artist. I know in my case I certainly can't. A lot of artists choose to be anon because they want their art to stand on its own; sometimes I choose it because I'm not sure what this is.

The moon is currently in Leo. Have some photos where I felt good about myself.
